There's something magical about extended family sessions. I have to admit, it's hard work getting the group photo right as there's always someone blinking or looking away. But I just love capturing a family's dynamic and embedded love. The special bond between grandparents and their grandkids is one of my favourite things to document. There's just nothing quite like it!
This lovely extended family session consisted of three grandparents, aunts, uncles and cousins, and it was the best. It was extra special because one of the uncles was flying back to the UK the next day. It was his first visit in over two years due to border closures (thanks again, COVID) and it must have been so nice for the family to be able to catch up with him again. Another reason why I love extended family sessions: there's always something to capture!
